This is a six round team picture quiz that takes about 50-75 minutes to do completely. The questions are not too serious and everyone should be able to have a good guess. Full solutions included. (updated 2022 to fix an answer and update a question)

A whole class activity: - a picture is cut into pieces - each pupil makes a scale drawing of their part - the class put them all together Good for practicing scale drawings and having some fun.

Bridge is a great card game that is played in pairs. It is similar to whist (with tricks and trumps) and requires four to a table. The attached booklets start with the very basics (e.g. dealing the cards) then teach the main concepts. Each booklet has a page of learning, then a short quiz, and so on. I have used these successfully at a school bridge club. Answer booklet included too.
